Our Story

Dear Farmer brings you spices with next level flavours and potency from India, supporting the small-scale farmers who make it all possible.

Our ingredients are grown by an incredible group of women farmers amidst India's mountains and forests. No chemicals or pesticides—just pure, regeneratively-grown goodness grown at high altitudes.

We pay our farmers fair-trade prices and are working towards investing into sustainable farming tools for them, using a portion of our profits. When you place an order, jars are hand-filled at our London facility to ensure maximum freshness. It all started in 2019, when I realised farmers in India struggled to make a living. So I set out to support small family farmers to promote the best of Indian agriculture and ethically share our culture.
